Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and exceptional critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that support data-driven decisions across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources.

Use Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, advanced formulas, and dashboards) to analyze and visualize data.

Apply critical thinking to interpret data results, question assumptions, and identify meaningful insights.

Develop and maintain automated Excel reports and performance dashboards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Management) to understand analytical needs.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity in all reports and analyses.

Present findings through clear visualizations and concise summaries to support business decisions.

Continuously look for ways to improve data collection and reporting processes through analytical thinking and automation.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, and dashboard creation.

Strong critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to interpret complex data and turn it into clear, actionable recommendations.

Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

Good communication and presentation skills to explain data-driven insights.

Familiarity with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Sheets, or Superset) is a plus.


Preferred Skills

Experience working with large and complex datasets.

Understanding of basic statistical methods and forecasting techniques.

Ability to automate recurring reports or connect Excel with data sources (APIs, databases).

Prior experience in business, financial, or operational data analysis.
