AR & Reporting Specialist

Job Description

• Review and process insurance claims for accuracy and completeness.
• Follow up with insurance companies and patients on unpaid or denied claims.
• Post payments and adjustments accurately to patient accounts.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and appeal denied claims as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
• Communicate with patients regarding account balances and payment plans.
• Generate aging reports and assist in meeting AR collection targets.
• Work closely with billing, coding, and front desk teams to ensure billing accuracy.
• Assist in preparing billing reports and financial summaries with senior guidance.
• Support compliance with healthcare regulations and payer rules.
• Provide Updates on payment status, collections and outstanding accounts.
• Help maintain dashboards and key billing metrics.
• Review billing dat for discrepancies and report issues.
• Coordinate with billing and compliance teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Share feedback to improve reporting processes and tools.
• Mid-level grip on MS Excel.
