Python Backend Developer (Django / FastAPI)

Job Description

We need a Python Backend Developer with solid, hands-on expertise in Django and FastAPI to help build, enhance, and scale backend services for modern web applications. The right candidate has shipped multiple real-world solutions, understands clean API design, and is comfortable working in cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Django, and FastAPI

• Create and integrate REST APIs with secure authentication/authorization

• Connect and manage third-party services such as payment gateways, social logins, and AWS S3 storage

• Design, manage, and tune databases using PostgreSQL 

• Package applications with Docker and assist in deployment and release workflows

• Work closely with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features smoothly

• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and improve overall system reliability

Requirements:

• Strong command of Python

• Proven experience with Django and FastAPI

• Practical experience integrating third-party APIs

• Good understanding of PostgreSQL

• Experience with Docker and container-based development

• Familiarity with Git and version control practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to AWS / Google Cloud

• Understanding of CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and cloud infrastructure basics
