Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Medical Report Editor to review, proofread, and edit QME (Qualified Medical Evaluator) reports. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for accuracy, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to ensure that each report is clear, consistent, and correctly formatted. While having a medical degree is a plus, it is not a requirement; however, a Bachelor’s degree and proven experience in editing and proofreading are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully review and proofread QME reports to ensure they are free of errors and inconsistencies.
- Edit and update templates with precise attention to formatting and detail.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of medical terminology and data within each report.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all documentation meets high-quality standards.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and compliance standards for sensitive medical information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees in medical or related fields are a plus.
- Proficiency in medical terminology; previous experience in medical editing preferred.
- Exceptional proofreading and editing skills with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Familiarity with document formatting techniques and the ability to consistently produce professional-quality reports.
- Highly detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear and actionable feedback on documentation quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience editing QME reports or similar medical documents.
- A medical background, such as a doctor or healthcare professional, is highly desirable but not required.
