Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Deployment

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for the HCM system
• Manage environments (Dev / UAT / Production)
• Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance

CI/CD & Release Management

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and database deployments
• Support zero-downtime or low-downtime releases
• Manage versioning, rollback strategies, and release tagging

System Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor application performance, uptime, and resource usage
• Set up alerts for system health, errors, and capacity thresholds
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks

Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices (SSL, secrets management, access controls)
• Manage role-based access for servers, services, and tools
• Ensure secure handling of employee and HR-related data

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Configure automated backups (databases, files, configs)
• Define and test disaster recovery and restore procedures

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with developers to support deployments and debugging
• Assist QA during testing cycles
• Provide production support and incident resolution
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and SOPs

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Strong knowledge of Linux server administration
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Understanding of web application architectures (APIs, databases, queues)
• Database management (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.)

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience supporting HRMS / HCM / ERP systems
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (basic to intermediate)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with high-availability systems
