Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead our software engineering teams across full-cycle development. This leadership role involves architectural planning, hands-on coding reviews, DevOps integration, and strategic alignment with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, people management skills, and the ability to scale systems and teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development teams through the complete SDLC

  • Architect scalable, modular, and secure platforms using modern design patterns

  • Balance team leadership with hands-on technical decision-making

  • Mentor developers, enforce coding standards, and lead code reviews

  • Drive the implementation of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and GitOps

  • Collaborate with product managers, QA, and business teams to prioritize and deliver features

  • Conduct architecture reviews, technical due diligence, and proof-of-concepts

  • Plan and monitor development sprints using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

  • Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and security compliance

  • Ensure alignment between engineering roadmaps and business objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading software development teams

  • Strong background in system architecture and scalable solution design

  • Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming (Python, PHP, C#, Node.js, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience in deploying cloud-native apps on AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Core Technical Skills:

  • Architecture & Design: Microservices, REST APIs, event-driven systems

  • Languages: Python, PHP, Node.js, C# (or similar)

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis

  • DevOps Tools: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps workflows

  • Project Management: Scrum/Kanban, Jira, Trello, ClickUp

  • System Optimization: Performance tuning, scalability planning, security best practices

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in multi-region deployments or enterprise-level system scaling

  • Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack)

  • Prior experience managing hybrid or cross-functional development teams
