Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and fluent Spanish speaker to join our Patient Services team as a Scheduling Specialist. This individual will play a critical role in effectively managing patient appointments for a group of doctors. The primary responsibility of the Scheduling Specialist is to handle patient calls, provide excellent customer service, and efficiently schedule appointments while ensuring clear communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling:
Handle calls and email correspondence from patients, healthcare providers, and other Law firms.
Schedule patient appointments for a group of doctors, ensuring efficient use of their time and resources.
Coordinate appointment times and locations based on patient and doctor availability. records in appointment into the portals accordingly
Patient Assistance:
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Verify patient information, insurance details, and medical records as necessary.
Assist patients in understanding appointment requirements and preparations.
Communication:
Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating clear and accurate information exchange.
Communicate appointment details, changes, and cancellations to Law firms and doctors in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the administrative and medical teams to optimize scheduling processes.
Data Management:
Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments and invoices are maintained in the portal and excel spreadsheets.
Generate reports and documentation as required by the department or organization.
Qualifications:
Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
Proficient in using scheduling software and office applications.
Previous experience in a healthcare or appointment scheduling role is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
