Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of assigned patient reports to verify the accuracy and completeness of clinical information.
Evaluate reports for consistency, clarity, and adherence to established medical record-keeping standards.
Collaborate with the team lead to clarify discrepancies and ensure precise documentation.
Prepare and finalize reports for submission to insurance providers, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Maintain rigorous attention to detail, organizational skills, and productivity standards to meet departmental objectives.
Requirements:
Post-secondary education/bachelor's or certification in a healthcare-related field preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex medical concepts.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information following HIPAA guidelines.
Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare operations, and electronic health records (EHRs) will be an asset.
