Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of assigned patient reports to verify the accuracy and completeness of clinical information.
  • Evaluate reports for consistency, clarity, and adherence to established medical record-keeping standards.
  • Collaborate with the team lead to clarify discrepancies and ensure precise documentation.
  • Prepare and finalize reports for submission to insurance providers, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Maintain rigorous attention to detail, organizational skills, and productivity standards to meet departmental objectives.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education/bachelor's or certification in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex medical concepts.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information following HIPAA guidelines.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare operations, and electronic health records (EHRs) will be an asset.
