JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Software Development Manager to lead and oversee our software
engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex
software projects, as well as a deep understanding of software development methodologies. You should possess
exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive teams toward successful project
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance, performance feedback, and career development support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business
objectives.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Develop and implement development processes, coding standards, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality software delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively implement solutions to ensure project success.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development methodologies to drive innovation.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven work experience as a Software Development Manager, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in managing software development teams.
- Strong background in software development, with hands-on experience in multiple programming languages and technologies.
- Previous experience leading and delivering software projects from concept to deployment.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or other development methodologies.
- Track record of successful team leadership and the ability to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degrees in management, business, or a related discipline are advantageous.
