Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the sales closing process, from initial client communication to final negotiation and deal closure.
  • Engage and convert leads coming from digital marketing channels, referrals, and Upwork proposals.
  • Maintain active communication with prospects through calls, video meetings, emails, and Upwork messaging.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and clearly articulate our value proposition.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to refine lead quality and improve conversion strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM or relevant platforms.
  • Follow up with prospects in a timely manner and ensure a high-quality client experience throughout the sales journey.
     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a Sales Closer, Business Development Executive, or similar role.
    • Demonstrated success in closing deals with US-based clients.
    • Strong background in lead conversion, especially through digital marketing-generated leads and Upwork.
    • Exceptional English communication skills — both spoken and written (neutral or US-accent preferred).
    • Ability to conduct persuasive sales calls and virtual meetings.
    • Strong negotiation, objection-handling, and relationship-building skills.
    • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
    • Familiarity with CRMs, Upwork workflow, and online sales tools is a plus.
       

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience selling digital services, IT solutions, marketing services, or agency offerings.
    • Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage environment
