Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Department – AI/ML to lead our artificial intelligence initiatives across multiple teams and projects. This role demands hands-on technical depth in LLMs, LangChain, LangGraph, Graph RAG, and emerging generative AI frameworks. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, experience in managing AI engineers, and the ability to translate research and innovation into scalable production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor AI/ML engineers across multiple teams and project streams

  • Define and oversee architectural direction for LLM-based and RAG-based systems

  • Manage research, experimentation, and prototyping efforts in advanced AI solutions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI features integrated into products

  • Stay ahead of the curve in GenAI trends, tooling, and best practices

  • Drive evaluation frameworks, model selection, and deployment strategies

  • Represent the AI department in strategic planning, budgeting, and resourcing

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership in managing AI/ML teams and projects

  • Strong command over LangChain, LangGraph, Graph RAG, and LLMs

  • Experience in building and scaling Generative AI solutions

  • Understanding of AI infrastructure, model lifecycle, and GPU-backed deployment

  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience as an AI Architect or Senior AI Scientist

  • Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or research publications

  • Knowledge of ML Ops practices, model versioning, and fine-tuning workflows
