Job Description

Position Overview: The Case Management Specialist is responsible for managing unverified cases and updating information through thorough review of documents and portals, including EAMS, WCIRB, Conexam, and various insurance portals. This role requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and adherence to company guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management:

    • Manage unverified cases by conducting detailed reviews of related documents and records.
    • Utilize resources such as EAMS, WCIRB, Conexam, and other insurance portals to gather and update accurate information.
    • Make phone calls to relevant parties (internal and external) to verify details and expedite case closure.
  • Information Update & Verification:

    • Ensure all case information is up-to-date, complete, and correctly documented.
    • Follow established processes to verify the authenticity of the provided information and records.
  • Target Achievement:

    • Meet and exceed individual and team targets as outlined by management.
    • Maintain consistent case handling and processing speeds, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
  • File Servicing & Compliance:

    • Handle case files in compliance with company guidelines and SOPs.
    • Monitor adherence to procedures and protocols, referencing training resources as needed.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and case progression.
    • Report regularly on case statuses, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with EAMS, WCIRB, Conexam, and insurance portals preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivering quality results.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and case documentation.

Work Environment:

  • This position may be hybrid or remote depending on the company’s policies.
  • Standard office hours with occasional need for overtime to meet deadlines.
